Advance Directives

June 05, 2024

An important aspect of financial planning is being as prepared as possible for unforeseen health events.

Estate planning can help you communicate your wishes ahead of time, to help facilitate care should you be incapacitated or to transfer your assets smoothly and preserve family wealth at death.

While I strongly recommend working with an experienced estate planning attorney, if you are just getting started with the basics, one important document that you can prepare yourself is an Advance Directive.
